Pre-registration Examination

Pre-registration Assessment -Kenyans

Every year, the Council shall give notice calling for all persons who have qualified from accredited institutions to apply for pre-registration assessment
An application shall be made to the Council in the prescribed form set out and shall be accompanied by the following;

  1. Copy of National Identity card or Passport.
  2. Copy of the K.C.S.E certificate or its equivalent.
  3. Copy of Diploma/Degree/letter of completion of studies in Physiotherapy or its equivalent.
  4. Copies of academic transcripts for each academic year of training completed for the Diploma/ Degree in Physiotherapy (or its equivalent), showing numbers of years, subjects, contact hours and examination results (marks, grades) obtained (optional).
  5. Evidence of enrolment as a physiotherapist in the Country where the training was obtained (where Applicable).  
  6. Current coloured passport size photographs
  7. Evidence of payment of requisite fees -Ksh 12,000
Re-sitting for exams
  • A candidate who fails exams, shall be given two more opportunity to re-sit for exams upon re payment of examination fees Ksh 12,000
  • Those who apply for re-sit shall wait for the next exam cycle to participate.
  • The committee shall review cases where a candidate fails more than two times to determine an appropriate way forward.
